"DREAMSCAPE – ART AND MUSIC UNITED"

What happens when urban contemporary art meets music?

Urban Nation explored that already with “The Cube“ installation in 2015 at the Lollapalooza Festival Berlin. This year they went one step further with “DREAMSCAPE: ART AND MUSIC UN-ITED“ – a walkable installation with monumental artworks by:

JOSH EVERHORN
LORA ZOMBIE

MARINA ZUMI
MONEYLESS

TRISTAN EATON

On the 10th & 11th of September 2016 over 140.000 festival visitors had the possibility to come into contact with urban contemporary art. If you didn’t make it to Lollapalooza, you can still admire some of the works in the upcoming URBAN NATION MUSEUM FOR URBAN CONTEMPORARY ART from mid-2017 on.

The installation manages to creatively overlap analogue and digital art. It lets the festival’s visitors enter a world somewhere between reality and fantasy, and it shows a thrilling interaction of static and dynamic images.

The clash of the two art forms will also take place in Iceland: once again, URBAN NATION brings “WALLPOETRY“ to Iceland Airwaves Festival. 10 musicians, 10 street artists – what emerges out of this mix are exceptional song interpretations adorning house walls in Reykjavík, visible for everyone before the festival starts on the 2nd of November.
