Born in 1979 in Linares, Spain, Miguel Angel Belinchon Bujes alias Belin is already famous for his talented way of spreading the codes of hyperrealism among suburban landscapes.

A natural sense for proportions allows Belin to be considered as a reference since he has started his work in 2001. His mural paintings, created only from spray techniques whithout using stencils, are immediatly recognizable among others in the eclectic world of urban art.

Over the past 15 years, Belin has captured human nature through his own quest for perfection in shapes and lines. He is now looking after another kind of esthetic pleasure. That is the reason why he has started to implement multiple angles in his work around faces and bodies, trying to give a better sense of the diversity in human expressions and feelings. Breaking the rules of proportion is now a great source of inspiration and leads him to explore a more subjective art.

In the process, Belin keeps using vivid colors and a mix in textures. These techniques are combined to some elements of its former hyperrealistic draw creating a total new dynamic in his pieces. The distance taken from proportions is making its new style even more unique than before. Belin likes to define this experiment as "Post Neo Cubism", paying his tribute to the amazing work of the Spanish master Pablo Picasso.

For his first Parisian Solo Show named " Post Neo Cubism ", the artist will present in his proper style, the icons and persons who captured his life thus the French symbols who glows from France to Andalucia.

For the show, Belin created an artwork inspired my Rihanna (image below)

THE ARRANGEMENT

Nicolas COUTURIEUX enjoys setting up important cultural projects thanks to trustworthy artists. Sought by the National foundation of morrocan museums (FNM) he becomes in 2015 the exhibition curator for the first ever urban art exhibition on the african continent called « Main Street » at the Mohammed VI museum in Rabat.

That same year, he gets in touch with the daily newspaper « Libération » in order to access the Palais de Tokyo and set up a unique performance under the theme of the freedom of speech.

The exhibition named « Artistes à la une » (« Front page artists ») helped raising several millions of Euros, in order to finance programs to defend the liberty of expression within the press field. This program was leaded by the NGO « Reporters Sans Frontières ».

In 2016 he discovers Belin’s new work and is immediately captivated by it. He goes to meet him on his land in Andalusia and bonds with him. Their friendship leads to a professional collaboration leading to a first project, an individual exhibition in Paris.
