Alessio-B, is from Padua (Italy). His artistic work falls within the urban art and street art. Attached to the diversion of messages and images, the artist tells us with humor and sympathy that life is also a big smile and a wink. The theme of the joyful and carefree childhood is reccurent in the work of Alessio-B . And he transmits it with strength and optimism.
Hi Alessio-B, today you selected for MoW 4 of your artworks inspired by music. Can you tell MoW why you selected those ? What was the music that inspired those artworks?
I chose these because musicians are those who for various reasons have influenced my life ... from L.REED / VELVET UNDERGROUND to JOHNNY CASH... Not to mention JIMI HENDRIX. Things that accompanied me since adolescence, like my brother playing guitar, it still sounds continuously at our house.
If you had to choose between them, which of your artwork would be your favourite ?
Among the four, the one I prefer is J.Hendrix ...
How long does it take you to make an artwork ? And what is the techniques you use ?
The technique used for the artworks is spraypaint on canvas with the use of stencils ... For the realization of stencils that can take days.
Is music important to you and your art? If so, Why ?
Music is essential to my work, I listen to music everyday. It truly is a source of inspiration on a daily basis.... Sometimes when you don't have any inspiration, a special song can inspire you.
Do you listen to music when you’re working ? If so what kind of music ?
Most of the time when I work, I listen to music of various genres from classical to rock to metal. I do not have a specific preference.
What is the song you liked the most lately? What album ? What was the last gig you went to ?
I recently appreciated as an artist Pharrell Williams - "Happy" the most beautiful song
The last concert I saw was last summer .... BILLY IDOL (fantastic!!).
Are you a musician yourself ? If so can you tell MoW more about your music projects ?
Unfortunately I am not a musician . I do not deny that I'd like to learn to play the guitar.
